The player character can relive the last days of Vault njclear as they attempt to claim the title of vault overseer vault's supercomputerthrough a battle royale-style game mode. The add-on focuses Fallout 4 nuclear winter mod the other vaults in Appalachiaother than Vault 76 and the fate of their residents. Nuclear Winter is the second add-on for Fallout 76adding mpd new battle royale gamemode and endgame team dungeons.

Inspired by other game's that had such features, I started brainstorming a temperature system that would add a fun immersive element to the exploration of the wasteland without compromising the core gameplay loop. That being said, none of them had any mechanics to accompany the new visuals. Players must maintain their core body temperature by wearing insulating clothing and locate heat sources in order to survive the bitter cold. Nuclear Winter, takes the existing Fallout 4 climate and creates a thermodynamics system based on the severity of the weather in addition to a number of environmental heuristics. Project Summary: Nuclear Winter is a gameplay systems mod focused on adding a series of temperature related survival mechanics to Fallout 4.
